One of my coaching colleagues has written a book on running a business and homeschooling.

In Homeschool On Fire: Be the CEO of Your Business and Homeschool, you will learn how to go through the process of creating a vision of what you actually WANT to do in both areas, and then determine the mentors, systems and tools that will help you get there. There are recommended resources, tips, challenges, exercises, and you may even laugh in a few places.

Heidi Totten is a big advocate of hiring mentors to teach you what you need to know, and support you as you take on new challenges and navigate the ups and downs of life. Consciously Create Your Ideal Life

I love the words “Conscious Creator“. Recently I came across these two words put together from an email that was sent to me. I felt like something woke up inside of me. It’s been a really fun two weeks since I received that email with lots of reading, listening, and thinking about this. Now I want to share what I have been learning.

Consciously Create Your Ideal Life – Part 1

Self Care = Success

One of my favorite people is Tiffany Peterson. I recently re-read this blog post on self care and how it relates to success in business.

For the past few months I have taken seriously starting my day with myself; scripture reading, personal development, prayer, meditation. I can see a difference in how my day goes when doing this verses when I don’t take the time. Taking a walk outside is also one of my favorite things to do, especially when I am at work. Lunch walks are the best way to unplug from a stressful morning and recharge for the afternoon.
